The moment of awakening heralds new life.
Conscious awareness flickers and begins to shine like a new star.
Unconscious awareness prepares to give way, watch and wait patiently like a guardian angel.
Senses stir, visions, sounds, feelings, scents and tastes take shape.
Choices, pathways and opportunities become our reality.
We are alive.
And so we tentatively emerge into the new day.
Are we the same as we were before we slept?
Or have we changed with rest and the passage of time?
Our re-awakening brings new hope and endless possibilities.
There is no need to rush.
Time is ours to choose.
And when we tire we shall sleep again in the loving arms of our angel within.
